Also regarding the format of this discussion Dr. Shapiro has said that:

"The purpose of this list is to advise clinicians and researchers. It is a professional list. There are a number of client posts
which should, at this point, cover the bases. Please look at those if you are a layperson."

Therefore, I do not assume this discussion list available only for supporters who do not wish others who disagree with them to debate the issues open and honestly.

If this is the case, maybe it sould be updated to read:

"Only those who agree with Dr. Shapiro's reading of the reserach are welcomed and will be respected."

This would be a sad comentary on a discussion list in my opinion.
