I am presently accumulating research for my doctoral dissertation, and am interested in investigating whether or not any client variables (gender, age, race etc) treatment variables (time since trauma, type of trauma ) or therapist variables ( experience, level of EMDR training, match of age, gender, race to client) have been demonstrated through research to have differential effects on treatment success with EMDR. I am considering examining these questions in an archival study of my previous clients (about 45 EMDR clients and over 100 sessions), but would be appreciative to find some similar investigation. I have reviewed most of the published research on EMDR to date, and can find not much more than scraps of information applied specifically to these questions. Any thoughts?
