1) For resource development read Andrew Leeds' chapter in the book Extending EMDR edited by P. Manfield. Also:

2) Component analyses in EMDR are plentiful and generally badly done. Read chapter 12 of my 1995 textbook for guidelines on this reasearch. Read my 1999 Journal of Anxiety Disorder article for additional research and parameters.
