    Yes, the statistics on this population are appalling.
    EMDR has been used successfully with this population. We have positive feedback from clinicians working in prison systems and institutions throughout the world. Unfortunately, while several studies are underway, the only places that results have been written up so far are in my paperback book EMDR (chapter 12) and in the EMDRIA Newsletter. A number of presentations of protocols have also been made at EMDRIA conferences.
