Can EMDR treatment be used with children?

I am very new and have little knowledge of EMDR, except what I have recently read on the internet. I decided to look into this treatment for the sake of my 6 year old foster daughter. She is a victim of both physical and sexual abuse, and consequently has developed extreme behaviors, such as lieing, being nasty, rebellious behavior, bad attitude, defiance, she cuts her clothing and blankets with scissors, and is abusive to animals, (although she can be nice to them, also). I am greatly concerned about her getting the proper treatment to correct these behaviors. Is this treatment a possibility?
