    EMDR and undergound trauma
    David C. Blore · 8/2/97 at 7:30 PM ET

I have been using EMDR for nearly 4 years with a specialist population consisting mainly of traumatised coalminers. I have also heard of EMDR being used in cases of tunnelling accidents (ranging from railway accidents to Vietnam veterans searching Viet Cong tunnels) and potholing accidents. I would be very interested to hear of any other examples of 'Underground' PTSD treated with EMDR as it seems that specific additions to Francine Shapiro's single trauma protocol are required.
