Re: Possible effectiveness of EMDR on adopted child

I just wanted to second Francine's response: I have used EMDR successfully with a number of adopted children, including two for whom the traumatic memories were essentially pre-verbal. It is important that the clinician be very familiar with working with children in addition to being fully trained in EMDR.
