There are three new books written about the use of EMDR with children:

Tinker & Wilson--Through the Eyes of a Child (Norton)

    Lovett--Small Wonders (Free Press)

Greenwald--Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR)with children and adolescents (Aronson)

EMDR is extremely useful with children diagnosed with ADHD. Often the actual problem turns out to be experientially based--not organic. In other cases, EMDR is used to addressed the sense of inadequacy, failure and futility that compound the problems.
