Seeking feedback on EMDR Professional

Two weeks from now I will be seeing a professional to seek my own healing about childhood sexual abuse. I spoke with him regarding EMDR. He is a level two trained. Some of his reponses to my questions concerned me. I told him about my experiences with tones and he said the research focuses on using fingers. He said he would have to see if I have PTSD before he would be willing to have me as a client. He seems very conservative and I need someone open with me as I take this journey. I have also talked with another therapist who believes level one training will do and they too only use fingers. I guess I am questioning whether I should continue to seek someone who goes with the flow or stay with someone who is conservative and only does fingers. Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.
