    There is no research regarding the effectiveness of the various methods, but clinicians have formed opinions.

    I believe, though this view is not universally shared, that bilaterally delivered music, which has its own meaning, may tangle with the processing. I prefer to just have "pure" sounds, light, or tactile stimulation, without added meaning, so the client can have his or her processing.
