I think the bottom line answer to your question is a resounding no. The only research with EMDR and children that I am aware of was for specific phobias and found that standard behavior therapy was superior to EMDR. If there is other peer-reviewed research with children I would be interested in hearing about it (e.g., references etc). Below are the references for the two articles.
