Having experimented with both lurking and posting the last several months, I haven't yet settled into a predominant pattern of "Internet Personality", so to speak. I do enjoy being more active in the process, but have had occasional mildly negative experience with posting-- which seems to lead to a temporary retreat and reconsider posture. Most experiences have been positive, though. When personal and professional life gets hectic ,however, lurking seems to become the default position. Either way, BOL, email discussion groups, and other online activities are FUN--no doubt about it.
What do others think? What's been your experience Dr. Suler? An interesting discussion topic...
