PSYCHOLOGY OF CYBERSPACE

    addiction stereotype

I'm not sure that the scenario you presented, Tatiana, is the typical internet "addiction." While that description may fit some people, it seems almost like a Hollywood stereotype. With the exception of the stacks of computer manuals, that dwelling of the internet addicted person could be a scene out of a movie about a drug addict. Such notions about internet addiction may be the birth of a new urban myth.
