    Thanks, Tatiana, for that post. It's a very interesting topic. I think cyberspace and the various personae we can adopt there does encourage the process of "dissociation" - and it may even be true that people with dissociative disorders may be attracted to some online worlds because of this.... However, I'm hard pressed to conclude that cyberspace can induce pathological levels of dissociation where it didn't exist previously..... Dissociation, in its more mild, "normal" forms, may be considered a kind of "role playing."
