Tatiana, I can hear through your post, you have been hurt. You're right. The ignore button was never meant to solve every problem we might encounter with the deviants online. However, it does protect you from the visual aspect of the verbally abusive onliner.
I have found that if you can't seem to tame them, at least communicate to them that you are placing them on ignore status and that they will only be entertaining themselves. This works most of the time. Try it sometime. :-)
