I'm not sure if Jung related his polarity theory specifically to Freud's structural theory, but Jung did speak about the conscious and unconscious aspects of personality polarities, as well as the archetypic sources of these polarities.
Your observations about the superego being inhibited online sounds right to me. Then, on the other hand, some people become very generous and helpful online, which might indicate a superego "enhancement."
Have most of us assumed a different persona online? I guess so. Some people do more of that than others. Some people prefer to be themselves as much as possible. Note, for example, people who always use their real name online, as compared to people who rarely do.
