** README! READING AND POSTING TO THIS FORUM **

You are welcome to post a message to any of the threads in this forum. Keep in mind that even if a previous post is weeks, months, or even years old, you can still reply. The time between posts, in some respects, doesn't matter. This is "asynchronous" communication (it exists outside of real time), so let's take advantage of that! I like to think of this forum as a sculpture of ideas that is slowly evolving. Feel free to add your ideas to any part of that sculpture.

I'm in the process of shaping the sculpture into sections. These sections are indicated by capital letter headings with a lightbulb and asterisks. Please use those sections as a guideline for where to post your message.

This forum has become quite long, so it takes a while for this page to download into your browser. To save yourself some time as you read threads, use the feature that enables you to open up a new browser window for each message you read. In Netscape and Explorer, click on a link and hold the mouse button down. You will see the option for opening another window. Then, when you read that message and close the window, the main page for this forum will still be on your screen.
