now that several months have passed, do you think the ratio of healthy people online vs 'relationally challenged' people has changed? i have found personally that it is so much easier to find the latter types online than used to be the case. speaking of DID, most of the individuals i have encountered online have been diagnosed with DID, schizophrenia, or other dissociative disorders.
maybe there are more people like this in the general population who do not reveal their personal mental/emotional struggles, but who online where it is 'safe' will divulge this information because they can remain anonymous.
another question that causes some concern from my own therapist is whether online DID relationships are really theraputic or may discourage alters from integrating because they have formed strong online bonds with people whom the host or other alters don't know....etc.
