I agree with you John. But, there is just so much of it out there, not only on the internet, EVERYWHERE. Do parents even have a chance anymore? If my child goes over to a friends house, how do I know if their computer is being monitored? Parents can't be everywhere. It just seems like parents are loosing to all the junk that is out there and readily available to them, parents and teachers are working hard to keep our youth from being influenced by wrong ideas. I'm sure many feel like they are in a no win situation these days. BTW...your article has some very good points. Thanks...Lana
It seems like on the internet anyone can do just about anything. How can our youth of today actually assimilate all that is out there, and make sound choices, when they are at such a vulnerable time of their life?
I just hope in the near future that there will be a better way to control what is put on the internet, and who has access to it, especially in the chat rooms where kids can be influenced by someone who could hurt them.
