Hi ! LambdaMoo was the first MOO I experienced (back in university years). Since then I've been ona variety of real-time chat rooms. Perhaps the type of people in MOOs are different than those in general chat rooms. I find that the people in MUDs and MOOs more obsessive with their site, cliquey (sp?), and more interested in the "other" aspects (ie. role-playing, gaming) aspects than the social ones. I did not have any bad experiences in LambdaMoo myself (that was back in 1993ish). I went back recently to look at it and I found the people a little more "rough" with their words and actions. I went to another site and nobody even helped me when I asked for help! Would like to hear your stories...:)
