The Bible says we are to be fishers of men. With that in mind, "the net" can be used to provide people with wholesome, life giving information. Unfortunately, people who are searching for answers to lifes problems, and know not how to sift through the negative, more appealing sites, appealing meaning that the sites offer a "quick fix" for their loneliness and despair, will most certainly fall into a trap and be snagged by the net of lies and deceit. Thereby causing more damage to their wandering, hurting spirits. The end result can be devastating. Broken mariages, broken hearts, broken lives. The only way to find true happiness, is to find God. Yes, there are absolutes in this world.
Isaiah 58:11 says, "The Lord will guide you continually and satisfy your desire with good things." I believe this with my whole heart.
My life is full of wonderful things. A fantastic husband, intelligent, beautiful, loving children, and incredible friends.
Is my life perfect? Can any of us reach perfection? I believe that perfection is in the heart. I am not refering to the outward appearance, I am talking about our thought patterns, and the way in which we coduct our daily lives. Think about what you meditate on daily. Are they thoughts of good or evil? Are they helpful thoughts or do you seek success through anothers failures?
Please do not misunderstand. I am not saying, nor do I believe there are any who are perfect, however we can have perfect thoughts. A way of thinking for the betterment of mankind. Yes, aside from being a Christian, I am and have always been an optimist.
And of course, I have a call now. I will return later.
Thank you John, for responding.
God Bless You and your efforts in dealing with the net in one's life.
