Well, there's certainly been some heated discussion. There also have been moments of kindness, empathy, and understanding - that's the part I think is especially important. I wonder how a support/experiential group in a newsgroup style forum like this compares to one conducted via email. One importance difference is that the posts in a forum like this have a much longer public shelf life than email. Anyone can stop by and view the messages that make up this "idea sculpture" called The Psychology of Cyberspace Forum.... Any feature that a visitor adds to this sculpture might stay there for a while.... A good thing to keep in mind!
