Dear Robin,
O.K. let's do it, right here and right now! Deep in cyber space, on John's great forum. Whata ya say John? Let's keep it open to all participants and lurkers however. I don't want to get involved in some private 'email think tank'. If we really want to get into the ego thing, we are going to need alot of participants.
I will qualify myself as your 'peer' Robin, simply as a human being online, and not as also a Gestalt therapist. I am thinking that since you are asking for real equality let us start with simply being human beings and see how far we can get.
I will start with my attempt to more fully understand your statements in your earlier posts:
10/25/98-'Eploring the Frontier of Human Consciousnes'
Robin states:
'For me everything that happens in consciousness is real so there is no need to seperate one reality from another, online from off, they are just different realities joined by the common denominator of consciousness, and in "our" case human consciousness'.
Question:
Fair enough generally, but am I to take you literally? Are you going all the way with this, or just out for a stroll cuzz it sounds so mystical and powerful? Please explain if you are saying that reality is a part of your consciousness, or, that your consciousness IS what reality IS?
In that same post Robin states:
'But one thought I would like to leave you with is the obsession people have to relate to one other person. This closedness is dangerous both on and offline. Exclusive love hurts ...'
Question:
What is so exclusive about love? Define dangerous and obsession in relation to other people please, Robin.
Robin states:
'So oneness, love and real communication are all one and the same thing. But humans are so afraid of love....This is so true, obviously, in the real world...'
Please define 'afraid of love' and 'in the real world' Your above statements of what is 'real' are not communicating to me that I can accept that oneness, love and real communication are all one and the same thing Robin.
warmly,
Dale
