Wow...very interesting post, and surely a "future" concept of potential impact as consciousness uploading, VR, and other apsects of this medium explode. Surely we all retain and are to some degree modified by ANY experience we have. There is another curious phenomena though that is somewhat oblique and to a small extent is discordant with this model,or, just not incorporated into it as yet. I have seen this within myself and many others; when pulling away from the net, there is a period of re-adjustment, and sometimes it seems as though you have awakened from a "dream". We see this in individuals who lose love online, their pain and greif deep, but only for a short duration. Maybe this suggests that without the sensory cues to firmly trigger certain neurologic mechanisms, the ingraining of cyber sensationalism just does not ultimately impact us that deeply. I am on shakey ground here, not having as yet given adequate thought to your invigorating post. Perhaps this too is just something else to consider. Thanks!
