Life Cycle of Mailing Lists

Hello!

I think you'd like to know that fragment of John Suler's "Psychology of Cyberspace" was officially translated into russian language. It is translation of The Natural Life Cycle of Mailing Lists. The URL of russian translation is http://www.nsu.ru/psych/internet/bits/lifelist.htm.

Regarding to that article, I would like to ask one question:
How do you think, is here the difference between "life cycles" of: mailing list, usenet conference, www-board, and also: is here important differences between human relationships in mailing list, usenet conference, www-board? I think that some differences do exist, but I can't describe them exactly... I just feel the difference, when I participate in conferences and in lists...
