Dr. Stein, I have been in touch before. I have found the Alfred Adler homepages extremely helpful when writing up a paper as part of the requirements for the completion of my Master in Ed. degree. I borrowed the books from the College library but couldn't get some of them other than for a day because of their being on special reserve. I have the book list from the Irish Adlerian society and intend buying what I can there. For the thesis, I want to have the books available when I need them. The whole inclusion debate is happening here now, since the publication of a Education Act in 1998.
I have sent in the following working title for my thesis proposal: "An Adlerian perspective on the inclusion of pupils with special educational needs into Irish second level schools." I await final approval.
I was wondering if you would shortlist for me those books you thing would be most pertinent to the ideas of belonging, acceptance and community, interconnectedness and rootedness, in case I have missed out on something important.
Again, many thanks.
Margaret Kennedy
