Depending on the individual's degree of feeling of community, the religious experience may range from feeling equal to, and positively connected to, all of life; to an assumption of being relatively morally superior (and depreciating others); or an illusion of being absolutely God-like. Read "Philosophical and Spiritual Implications of Adlerian Psychology" at http://go.ourworld.nu/hstein/muellera.htm and Adler's dialog with Ernst Jahn in "Superiority and Social Interest," edited by Heinz and Rowena Ansbacher.
