In her book, "Adolf Hitler: A psychological Interpretation of His Views on Architecture, Art, and Music," author Sherree Owens Zalampas offers an Adlerian interpretation of Hitler trough an examination of his views of architecture, art, and music. She traces his desperate attempts to compensate for a massive feeling of inferiority by dreaming himself into the roles of a great painter, Wagnerian warrior, extraordinary architect, and master of Europe. When he realized that none of his compensations would be realized, he committed suicide.
