Adlerians tend to refrain from offering any interpretion about a single symptom. They generally get a comprehsive history and look for common denominators before forming hypotheses about the purpose of behavioral patterns. You might find some general insight by reading "What Life Could Mean to You." Also, this public forum is not really appropriate for discussing personal issues.
