Dwarfism and iferiority complexes

As a student in a general psychology class, the theories of Alfred Adler have been part of my course work. My question is whether there has been any research conducted on the possible links between dwarfism or short stature, and inferiority complexes. I am primarily curious, and would appreciate some information regarding this subject. I know that Adler asserted his theory of compensation, and I wondered if any one has taken his theory and researched it in connection with dwarfism. Thank you for your time and consideration.
