I think that the traumas in our childhood creates a certain individual path which defines our personality and function as an individual. The path can also be defined as the destiny in my opinion. The path or the strategy to survive that the traumas creates leads to happines and to something meaningful for the person. Therefore am I very critical to psychotherapy especially for young people. I think the treatment can create a blank person with less capability to feel happines and selfrespect because the path that defines the person have no goal anymore. I realize that in some extreme situations when the person have suffered to big traumas so that he cannot deal with it, it's maybe necessary. So what should be done with this person who sufferes from these childhood traumas? I believe in creating a new situation where the person can be happy. I believe that you should strenghen the persons destiny. Its not the person that should change. It's the situation and the surrounding that should be altered. The person have to seek a better envoirment where his personality is an asset and not an obsticle. And this can be accomplished by learning the patient about himself and of course give courage and strengh to follow his path and destiny.
