Adler understands development, so age and the progress
of learning are important in our movement towards
greater competence and increased social interest.
Yes, of course all of us may learn and change our notions.
Children are less competent, which is why we must guide
them towards more useful behavior, correct their mistaken
notions and readily encourage them (and each other)
