Gil, thank you for the reference. Brody's review is quite rich and stimulating. I'll have to make time to read Wright's book. I'd like to see if he proposes any construct parallel to Adler's idea of "Gemeinshaftgefeuhl" (the feeling of community and connection with all of life)as a catalyst for social evolution.
