Earliest Childhood Recollections of U.S. Presidents

Aside from exploring many published biographies, is there any resource (book, article, thesis) that provides a collection of the earliest childhood recollections of American presidents (and presidential candidates)?

If not, is anyone interested in becoming part of a team to help dig out these recollections from biographical sources so that we can post a collection on the AAISF web site?
