Re: Comparison of Freud and Alder

Some of the best comparisons are found in survey texts for introductory counseling classes. For instance try "Current Psychotherapies" by Corsini and Wedding. I believe the key difference is Freud's emphasis on sex drive in psychosexual development theory compared to Adler's understanding of birth order influences and family constellation.
