Re: psychological position

I'm not sure what you mean by "psychological position." If you mean birth order, check "An Adlerian Overview of Birth Order Characteristics" at http://go.ourworld.nu/hstein/birthord.htm . There may be a difference between a child's ordinal position and their eventual response to that placement. Under some circumstances, a second or younger child may adopt the usual characteristics of an oldest and become a "caretaker" to the other children.
