I appreciate your calling attention to the work of the Beechers. Their popularization of Adler's ideas provided a stimulating perspective on child guidance and self improvement for the general public. Amazon books is currently listing three of their books.
Anyone engaging in a serious study of Adlerian Psychology could also benefit from reading the works of a number of other early Adlerians who reflected Adler's original ideas accurately, but added their own valuable nuances: Lydia Sicher, Erwin Wexberg, Alexander Mueller, Anthony Bruck, Karl Nowotny, Alexander Neuer, Sophie Lazarsfeld, Oscar Spiel, and Ferdinand Birnbaum. It is interesting to compare their thoughts on each of Adler's constructs and their target readers. Adler's audience range was broad -- from WHAT LIFE COULD MEAN TO YOU, written for the general public, to the clinically profound THE NEUROTIC CONSTITUTION.
