Adler: Identity Acheivement and Self Esteem

Previous messages wrote that Adler felt that self-esteem and criminal behavior were related, What about the influences on self-esteem? For example, did Adler write about the influence of ethnic and gender identity or identity achievement as a whole, on a persons self-esteem.
