I'm sorry for the delay in responding to your request, but I just returned from a one-week vacation.
When teaching classes, I have "warmed-up" a group of students by dividing them initially into family constellation sub-groups of only, oldest, youngest, and middle borns. They compare early positive and negative experiences of their common birth order positions -- it is helpful to have one person in each group take notes and then report out to the main group. This process usually generates a great deal of fascinating discussion.
