This is the single most helpful material I have seen on this problem of birthorder's influence on psychological development. I believe it balances some overweighted views with a more moderate view with the emphasis quite properly placed on individual uniqueness and creativity. Henry very carefully counters the notion that the sibling constellation has some mystical connection with the outlook of the child and thus the adult. His interview is most thoughtful and carefully measured (any surprise from such a wise mind?). He developes with his usual care, the notion that the child's conclusions and perceptions affect the outcome, not the absolute relationship to the pacemakers or the pursuers. He gives a clear outline of some conclusions the child may make in this record without any evidence of a "typological" approach. I highly reccomend this CD to all Adlerians and hope it will trigger some very useful discussions.
