    Hello,
I'm an Italian medical psychotherapist. It seems to me that there's a connecting line between Adler's individual psychology (very social) and humanistic psychology, in particular that represented by Carl Rogers.
While considering eclecticism(?) in psychotherapy dangerous, I wonder if you think it possible for an Adlerian to espouse a psychotherapy that has as its base theory individual psychology but also utilizing Rogersian listening, congruence, and empathy to acquire information for an eventual implicit Adlerian interpretation. Interpretation that the therapist utilizes for their own use, without proposing it to the client, in the process of empathic Adlerian encouragement.
Thank you very much for your response.
P.S. I'm writing in Italian because I'm not able to do it in English or American.
