LITIGIOUS MINNESOTA MULTIPHASIC PERSONALITY INVENTORY (MMPI) PROFILES... "In terms of predispositions, the question could be asked, is there 'a litigious profile' on the MMPI/MMPI-2? The answer is yes and no. Essentially, there is a cluster of non-psychotic paranoid profiles where there appears to be a substantial increment in the readiness to file lawsuits, appeal administrative decisions, or otherwise litigate. Interesting. Now I ask, does the MMPI provide for a definition of counter transference of therapist against client in a pre or post litigious situation, or description of fear of a real or imagined litigious situation on the part of the therapist toward client, when therapist feels unjustly sued, despite that such a suit may well be warranted against the therapist on the part of the client for any host of reasons, which could compel the therapist to behave in a self-righteous manner and in a negative way towards client, as a result of a Psychopathic Deviate State, or fitting with a psychiatric diagnosis of paranoid personality, which would lead therapist to lie as a result of feelings of resentful martyrdom where therapist feels forced with no choice to do so to restore his/her lost or damaged rights and reputation as a therapist?
