Default next step toward goal

Hello,
I am and LCSW and Licensed Addiction Counselor in Colorado. I worked providing outreach mental health and substance abuse services for 2 years in a community health clinic.

I am interested in pursuing a phD with a goal of providing research support for continuing to bring mental health professionals into the primary care environment. Who is doing good work in this area and might be a good contact? University of Colorado Health Sciences Center has a Clinical Sciences Health Services Research program and is nearest me at this time.

phD in public health? please help, i am open to ideas of where to head to best achieve the above stated goal.
